A Summary of the May 21, 2007 Tyler ISD Board of Trustees Meeting

Newly Elected Trustees Take Office

The oath of office was administered to Mr. Gene Shull, Single Member District 1; Mr. Therelee Washington, Single Member District 3; and Mrs. Michelle Carr, Single Member District 6.  Mr. Shull replaced Andy Bergfeld, who did not seek re-election to his position.  The newly elected trustees will each serve a three-year term.

Board Authorizes and Approves New President and Vice President

The Board of Trustees approved Brad Spradlin, Single Member District 5, as the new Board President, and Ron Vickery, Single Member District 7, as the new Board Vice President.  They will serve in these positions for one year.
