Parents & students are invited to a fun & informative back to school event to
help prepare for the upcoming school year. #schooliscool is a free event for students in prek - 12th grades and is presented by Brookshire’s, the City of Tyler, Northeast Texas Public Health District, Tyler Area Business Education Council, Tyler Council PTA & Tyler ISD.
The 2014-2015 Volunteer Application is available online. Career & Technology Center Logo Finalized
Tyler ISD unveiled the logo for the Career and Technology Center at the July board meeting. The CTC is scheduled to open in August 2015.
Board Announces Lone Finalist for Superintendent
The Tyler Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously named Dr. Marty Lane Crawford as the lone finalist for the District’s superintendent position. The announcement was made at this evening’s monthly board meeting. READ MORE
The Tyler ISD PALS Mentoring Program is seeking retired educators to serve part-time as a District Mentor. Mentors should desire to support beginning teachers in creating a positive learning environment for students through effective classroom management, organization and student engagement strategies.
