What is up with CSCOPE?
There have been questions about whether the CSCOPE resources we have long relied on will still be available. The answer is “Yes” and “No”. While the governing board has changed, as has the website, and even the name “CSCOPE”, the Years at a Glance, Instructional Focus Documents, Vertical Alignment Documents and other curricular resources will remain available. Only the Exemplar Lessons, an instructional resource, have been removed.

CSCOPE will now be referred to as the "TEKS Resource System". The new website address, as of September 1, is:

At this time, Tyler ISD has no plans for posting the Exemplar Lessons for teacher access. Teachers may continue to use lessons they developed in prior years, even if they incorporate activities or other elements (such as targeted vocabulary) from the Exemplar Lessons. As always, we encourage teachers to access multiple quality resources when planning instruction with the goal of developing standards aligned lessons that utilize research-based strategies.

A public website is currently in development and will provide information on the TEKS Resource System and the
Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative, which is the governing body.
