The school counseling program at Tyler High School is geared toward meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students. We are here to support each student and their families throughout the school year. Our goal is to make a significant positive impact in your student’s life. Announcements

Parents and students will receive help on the FAFSA from TJC and UTT representatives! Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon after October 1 as possible.

  • www.fafsa.ed.gov 

  • For 2023-2024 FAFSA and TASFA , you will need to use your 2021 tax return.

  • Filling it out is the first step in accessing the largest source of federal, state and college financial aid. It is important for EVERY senior to fill out a FAFSA in order to take advantage of all need and merit based financial aid available.

ACT & SAT Online Study Programs- FREE!!

These resources are available to all TISD high school students!  If you are a senior and you haven't taken your entrance exam yet, or need to take it again, jump in TODAY and make the most of these resources!  If you are a junior, you will need to take your SAT and/or ACT this Spring, so log in and get started now!

Apply for Free & Reduced Lunch

The Food Services Department is now accepting applications for the free & reduced lunch program. Parents/Guardians can apply online or complete a paper application, but do not need to do both. Upon completion of either application, a letter detailing approval or denial of benefits will be sent to the address on file for the student. Online applications are processed daily.

Sign Up to View Grades Online

Parent Self Serve Portal (PSS Portal) – Parents/Guardians of students can set up an account to view their children’s attendance, assignments & grades. Parents can also setup email alerts that will be sent whenever their child is absent or a grade is entered that falls below a value determined by the parent. Parents can also complete the yearly Online Registration process through PSS.
