Orientation Information
Please watch the appropriate DAEP Orientation video below. Afterward, please fill out the Student Information Sheet for the campus your student attends. Birdwell and Caldwell students will fill out the appropriate Student Information Sheet based on grade level.
You and your student must still attend the DAEP Intake Meeting, held each full class day at 2:00 p.m. at the DAEP. Parents and students who have watched the video, and filled out the corresponding online form, will be able to complete the intake meeting in less than 5 minutes. Those who have not will be required to watch the video as part of the intake meeting and fill out the forms while on site. All students and parents must arrive at the DAEP prior to 2:00 p.m. in order to attend the intake meeting. Those who are late will be required to return the next day.
The Tyler ISD DAEP location is 1501 West Connally Street, Tyler, TX 75701. Entrance to the Intake Meeting is through the front office, located on the West Connally Street side of the building where the steps are located. If you have any questions, please contact the campus at 903.262.3140.
