Charge Policies

You can prepay at any time for meals. Cash or checks are accepted at the serving line during normal business hours. Online payments are accepted anytime.

Elementary Schools

Elementary schools do not currently have a formal charge policy.  All elementary campuses have qualified for the CEP program and all students have free meals.  Extra food items/milk may be purchased and charges for these items are not allowed.

Money for extra food items/milk can be placed on the student’s account several ways: at the school cafeteria during business hours, online (a small convenience fee applies), or by coming to the food service central office.

Middle Schools

All middle schools have a charge limit of three days.  Students are not allowed to charge snack items or a-la-carte items, only reimbursable meals. Once the maximum amount has been met, the student will be offered a reimbursable meal consisting of a meat/meat alternate, whole grain, a choice of vegetable, a choice of fruit, and a choice of milk.  Students will be notified each time they charge the number of charges allowed in an attempt to avoid overdrawn accounts.  An automated phone system will also be utilized to notify parents of overdrawn accounts.

Charges can be paid several ways: at the school cafeteria during business hours, online (a small convenience fee applies), or by coming to the food service central office.   If you feel you qualify for the Free/Reduced meal program, please contact our office for information.
