Food Service
Children need healthy meals to learn. We offer healthy meals every school day.
Food Service Mission
Our mission is to provide the most nutritious meal possible to our students throughout the district, with optimum customer service and food safety, while adhering to state and federal guidelines.
Free Breakfast for all Campuses
We offer free breakfast at all campuses for any student. We invite you to jump start your day and visit your cafeteria for a breakfast any morning free of charge!
Free Lunch at Elementary Campuses
We offer free lunch at all elementary campuses (including Birdwell & Caldwell). Elementary schools will request an income questionnaire be filled out to help qualify your school for other funding and student benefits. We request families fill out the lunch application for all middle and high school students.
Campus Menus
Visit your campus website, click on +MENU & then DINING to see the menus specific to your campus.

Free & Reduced Lunch
We accept applications for the free & reduced lunch program throughout the year. Parents/Guardians can apply online or complete a paper application (available in the Food Services office), but do not need to do both. Upon completion of either application a letter detailing approval or denial of benefits will be sent to the address on file for the student. Online applications are processed daily.

Pay for Meals Online
Lunch Money Now permits parents/guardians to access their studentsβ cafeteria account, including checking student balances, viewing student meal purchases, and depositing funds into lunch money accounts using a credit card.
Please note there will be a minimal fee involved with each transaction.
If you need assistance with this process or have questions, please contact us at 903.262.1107.
Charge Policies
You can prepay at any time for meals. Cash or checks are accepted at the serving line during normal business hours. Online payments are accepted anytime.

Elementary Schools
Elementary schools do not currently have a formal charge policy. All elementary campuses have qualified for the CEP program and all students have free meals. Extra food items/milk may be purchased and charges for these items are not allowed.
Money for extra food items/milk can be placed on the studentβs account several ways: at the school cafeteria during business hours, online (a small convenience fee applies), or by coming to the food service central office.

Middle Schools
All middle schools have a charge limit of three days. Students are not allowed to charge snack items or a-la-carte items, only reimbursable meals. Once the maximum amount has been met, the student will be offered a reimbursable meal consisting of a meat/meat alternate, whole grain, a choice of vegetable, a choice of fruit, and a choice of milk. Students will be notified each time they charge the number of charges allowed in an attempt to avoid overdrawn accounts. An automated phone system will also be utilized to notify parents of overdrawn accounts.
