All professional learning opportunities are located in KickUp. If you have a Tyler ISD email address, please register for your KickUp account using your Tyler ISD email. If you are still waiting on your email, please register for your KickUp account using your full legal name and personal email address.

The Tyler ISD New Hire Teacher Training is required for all teachers newly hired into Tyler ISD.
The Beginning Teacher Academy is required for all new to Tyler ISD teachers with less than 3 years teaching experience in a US. public school.

Beginning Teacher Academy
Bite-sized professional learning targeted toward classroom management, culture, and academic rigor that are paced throughout the school year to build teacher capacity.
Coaching
Individualized coaching with Master Teachers and Instructional Specialists designed to grow your teacher skills in management, instructional strategies, and student engagement.
Mentoring
A multi-tired support system that serves all teachers with less than three years teaching experience in a U.S. public school with a grade/content area mentor, a campus lead mentor, and a district level mentor to address specific beginning teacher needs.
Tyler ISD Connected
Beginning Teacher Mentor Program - A Support System for Beginning Teachers
Teaching & Learning facilitates the beginning teacher program, Tyler ISD Connected, and provides professional learning opportunities to grow teaching capacity.
Content or Grade Level
Day-to-day needs concerning planning, teaching, and classroom environment.
Campus Lead Mentor
Holds monthly meetings to target campus systems and resources, instructional strategies, and social-emotional needs.
District Mentor
Supports classroom management, organization, and self-efficacy.
