We have something for everyone this summer! From athletics, to art and dance, to inflatables and sprinklers, your child won't want to miss these exciting opportunities for some summer fun!
Some camps and activities are hosted by community partners.
Caldwell Camps
Variety of camps offered. Your child does not need to be a Caldwell student to attend.
Grade levels are for 24-25 school year
Mentoring Alliance Summer Camp
Give your child the summer of a lifetime. Open to all students entering 1st - 6th grades.
Income-based financial aid is available for all families who qualify. Additional discounts are offered for families with multiple children and school district employees.
Glass Recreation Camp
Hosted by the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department
June 10 - August 2
7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch provided
Cost is $225 per child
Summer Playground Program
FREE program hosted by the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department
June 12 - August 4
9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch provided
Summer Feeding Program
Free breakfast and/or lunch to those 18 years of age and younger.
Literacy Events and Resources
Help your child stay on track with their literacy skills this summer.
Literacy Bus
The Literacy Bus will travel throughout the Tyler ISD community to provide high-quality literacy resources to encourage family reading.
ReadyRosie
An early education tool that helps families, schools, and communities across the nation deepen and scale their family engagement efforts.
Title I Parent Center
Parents can check out a variety of resources and take them home for the whole family to enjoy!
Summer Literacy Challenge
Enjoy the literacy bingo card to keep reading all summer.
Academic and Enrichment Opportunities
We offer a variety of academic and enrichment opportunities during the summer for all grade levels.
Students will engage in a variety of learning activities and lessons with a specific focus on math and reading. Our summer school programs are designed to not only close gaps and prevent potential learning loss over the summer, but also accelerate learning and/or provide credit recovery. Instruction is tailored to meet each studentโs individual needs by our highly effective teachers. For specific information regarding your childโs summer experience, please contact the summer school principal at your campus.
