Title I is the largest federal aid program for our nation's schools. The goal of Title I is a high-quality education for every child. The program provides extra help to students who are attending identified Title I schools - those with high poverty levels. Title I focuses on assisting students in meeting the standards the state has set for all children.

We believe that through Title I:

Children receive more educational opportunities
Parents have more say about their child's education
Teachers benefit through staff development, materials, and supplies purchased by Title I funds

The primary role of the Title I Parent department is to empower parents to become active participants in the education of their children.  The Title I Parent Engagement staff works to bridge the communication between the school and home by helping parents obtain the information, help, and support they need to ensure their child’s academic and social success in school.

We also offer programs to involve, inspire and empower parents to engage in the education of their children and families.
