Griffin Elementary students, staff, and families celebrated Black History Month during their annual celebration.
Parents met with teachers to review student progress and goals then participated in living history museums, musical and dance performances, and shared their art work inspired by African American artists.
Local businesses B&B BBQ Food Truck, Jessβ Like Home Catering, and DJ Juice provided food options and additional entertainment.
To top it off, families were able to take advantage of the Scholastic Book Fair and purchase books to take home.
