Jaylonn isn't just a student of the month; he’s a confidence booster, a hard worker, and an all-around awesome individual! He comes to school every day wanting to learn, works hard on and off the football field, and resonates a win-win attitude. Jaylon is an All-Star Bee!!

Jay Jay has been acing ELAR and Math, working his socks off, and what’s even cooler? He's tackled both academics and football with the same energy and passion.
It's not just about the grades for Jaylonn; it's about owning his learning journey. And talk about confidence – Jaylonn radiates it! He faces challenges head-on, inspiring everyone around him. His positive attitude is contagious, making the whole class feel like they can conquer anything.
J. McCuin is not only a leader on the football field, but he also exudes leadership in the classroom. In the gym he is in his element. Always taking the initiative to be proactive and help others in need. And is very good at synergizing, showing graceful sportsmanship to his peers. He's a remarkable young man.
It's a pleasure having him in my classroom this school year. He is learning about putting first things first. He is a fantastic student.

Each month, Tyler ISD recognizes the exemplary efforts of two students, one from our elementary schools and one from our secondary schools, to be honored. Teachers and school principals submit nominations based on students' excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus, and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
