Tyler High Coach Lionel Wrenn: β€œDuece caught my attention my first days on campus. He has all the intangibles that you look for in an athlete. He is a β€˜yes sir, no sir’ kid who will do anything you ask or coach him. He is the guy that will go above and beyond the quest. He made the move from full-time defensive back to receiver this year and embraced it. Duece is the true definition of a student-athlete, as he carries a 3.8 GPA and is a member of NHS. He also gives back to the community by volunteering time outside of school coaching little league sports. Duece will be able to accomplish anything he puts his mind to.”

He is an overall great student-athlete and low maintenance. You do not have to worry about him not being where he’s supposed to be or failing any classes.”
