This year, the students will test their innovation and business development skills with the return of the popular program, Investment Quest, first introduced to the Student Board 10 years ago.  As aspiring β€œentrepreneurs,” the student board members will have eight months to conceptualize a product, service, or business they could potentially bring to market.

Texas Bank and Trust established the Student Board - its first and most enduring financial literacy program - in 1978.

Students are selected based on their grade point average, extra-curricular activities, and work activities. Students must submit an essay with their application as well as two letters of recommendation from either a faculty member or administrator to be considered for the program. Students accepted into the 2024 Student Board program were notified in early June.

Since its inception, the Student Board has introduced more than 3,600 area high school seniors to banking and money management.
