Congratulations to Cor'De Denson, a 3rd grade student at Clarkston Elementary School, for being named the District Elementary Student of the Month.
Cor'De consistently goes above and beyond to help his peers, whether assisting classmates with challenging work or being a friend to students who need companionship. His compassion was especially evident when he noticed a peer sitting alone at lunch and asked to sit with him, ensuring that no one felt left out.
In addition to his kindness, Cor'De sets personal goals for his academic progress in iReady and works diligently to stay on track. His teacher praises him as a model citizen, describing Cor'De as proactive, kind, and an excellent role model for others. He approaches his work with a positive attitude and always strives to be his best.
Cor'De's thoughtfulness and dedication make him an outstanding example of what it means to be a leader and a friend, earning him well-deserved recognition as the District Elementary Student of the Month.
The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System.
Each month, Tyler ISD recognizes the exemplary efforts of two students, one from our elementary schools and one from our secondary schools, to be honored. Teachers and school principals submit nominations based on students' excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus, and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
