Congratulations to our District Secondary Teacher of Month, Ashley Fountain, 6th and 7th-grade Reading Language Arts (RLA) teacher at Moore Middle School.
Mrs. Fountain takes ownership of her classroom and cheer program, consistently pushing for excellence. From organizing the cheer squad to greet students on the first day of school to leading campus pep rallies, her dedication to building school spirit is unmatched.
In the classroom, Mrs. Fountain demonstrates engaging instructional practices that drive student success. Her excellence has earned her multiple accolades, including the 2023-2024 Top Teacher recognition and Moore’s September Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Fountain has also taken on the challenge of teaching both 6th and 7th grades this year due to staffing changes, proving her effectiveness and willingness to go above and beyond.
Beyond instruction, she has strengthened her team by creating and sharing student data trackers and lesson slides, fostering consistency and collaboration among her colleagues. Her leadership extends to the cheer squad, organizing events like pep rallies and community service opportunities, and building strong relationships with parents and students.
