Congratulations to our District Elementary Teacher of Month, Justin Malone, 5th grade teacher at Jack Elementary School.

In just his second year at Tyler ISD, Mr. Malone has already made a profound impact on his campus, bringing creativity, innovation, and strong connections with students and families.

With over a decade of experience in education, Mr. Malone has enriched the culture at Jack Elementary by fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. One of the standout contributions he has made is through Jack Elementary’s "Sharpen the Saw" enrichment clubs. He has introduced his passion for gaming to the school by creating an in-class arcade where students can challenge each other on vintage video games. This unique and interactive approach not only brings joy to his students but also serves as a positive behavior incentive β€” students can earn tokens throughout the week for good behavior and redeem them for game time.

Mr. Malone’s ability to connect with students in meaningful ways while making learning fun is a testament to his dedication as an educator. His innovative teaching methods and unwavering commitment to his students make him a deserving recipient of this recognition. Congratulations, Mr. Malone!
