Tyler ISD is excited to celebrate National Gifted and Talented (G/T) Week April 7-11, 2025. Sixteen Tyler ISD elementary campuses are gearing up for a week filled with activities and events designed to recognize and support gifted education.

β€œWe’re proud to celebrate the creativity, curiosity, and passion our gifted students bring to our campuses each day,” Facilitator of Elementary Programming Raina Patton said. β€œOur GT program is designed to challenge and support students as they explore their interests and reach their full potential.”

Tyler ISD’s Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program offers personalized learning plans, hands-on projects, and enrichment opportunities that help students thrive academically and creatively. This week’s activities allow the community to see firsthand the incredible talents and bright minds within the district.

G/T Awareness Week takes place during the first full week of April each year to raise awareness and encourage support for gifted education in Texas. This initiative provides an opportunity for parents, educators, and advocates to come together to celebrate giftedness through online community discussions and social media engagement.
