Congratulations to our District Teacher of Month, Shelby Beasley, a teacher at Jones Elementary School.
Mrs. Beasley is dedicated to successful student outcomes. She has great relationships with her students and partners with families to encourage her students to always do their best. She has seamlessly implemented several of our campus incentives, such as Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Leader in Me, AVID, Math Workshop, and Kagan strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
She is very data-driven to ensure her students meet district, campus, classroom, and individual goals. Her current 5th Graders have shown tremendous growth on campus and district assessment thus far.
Mrs. Beasley is a member of our Organizational Health Index (OHI) team, AVID Elementary team, and serves as the campus Sunshine committee chair, where she works hard to build a great campus culture. She willingly helps others in planning as she has also taught kindergarten and 1st Grade at Jones.
She works hard to ensure that teachers are prepared for optimal teaching and learning every day. Mrs. Beasley has definitely demonstrated campus leadership.
