January 26 marked the 100th day of the Tyler ISD school year. Many of our schools celebrated in their unique ways as 100-year-olds.
At Peete Elementary School, the staff took to the hallways to entertain their classes. A parade of βmuch aged teachersβ hobbled past their cheering and giggling students.
At Jones Elementary, the preschool speech class got up and danced to a music video on the big screen counting up to 100!
Their teacher became a granny for the day and motivated them to answer the question, βwhat do you want to know when you are 100 years old?
She also used dress-up clothes to show them what they would look like as they age in their twilight years!
Our schools are make learning fun and interactive for successful student outcomes!
