Tyler ISD faculty and staff from Boulter Middle School and Jack Elementary School kicked off a multi-day community impact project on Thursday evening, ending with round two on Saturday.
Dozens of campus employees volunteered at the East Texas Food Bank, completing ten pallets, almost 500 total boxes, making over 14,000 meals. In addition to the impact it will have on those in need, it was also an excellent opportunity to build campus culture and give back to the Tyler Community. There are plans for other chances to "Be the Change" throughout the year.
Jarvis Christian College joined Tyler ISD efforts on Saturday for fellowship while helping to feed those in need.
