Congratulations to Titan and Kannin Hartsock, 5th grade students at Jack Elementary School, for being named the District Elementary Students of the Month.
The twin brothers are recognized for their outstanding leadership and dedication to their school community.
After moving to Texas last year, Titan and Kannin quickly made their mark at Jack Elementary. Now in their final year as Patriots, they are setting a high standard for what it means to be student leaders. Whether itβs representing their campus in UIL competitions or participating in every sport offered by Tyler ISD, these two are always involved and always leading by example.
Each day, the Hartsock brothers take on the important responsibility of raising and lowering the school flags, heading up a crew of fellow students. Theyβre also proud members of the KJAC morning announcement team, a highly sought-after leadership role that requires an application and commitment.
Titan and Kannin exemplify what it means to be well-rounded students and compassionate leaders. Their contributions to Jack Elementary have made a lasting impact, and they continue to inspire their peers through their actions, service, and school pride. Congratulations, Titan and Kannin!
The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System.
Each month, Tyler ISD recognizes the exemplary efforts of two students, one from our elementary schools and one from our secondary schools, to be honored. Teachers and school principals submit nominations based on students' excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus, and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
