November STEM Challenge. PreK-2 grade design a turkey. 3-5 design a turkey trap

This year, the library is getting into the fall spirit by having a turkey and turkey trap design challenge.  Jack students are invited to join in on the November STEM Challenge.  It’s easy and fun for the whole family!  

Students may bring their November STEM Challenge project to the Jack Media Center to be on display beginning Monday, November 9,  2020 .  All projects will go home by Friday, November 20, 2020.  

Be creative and have fun synergizing with your families!

PreK-2nd Grade Challenge:

 Design and create a turkey using household items!

3rd-5th Grade Challenge: 

Mission: Your family forgot to get a turkey for Thanksgiving and the stores are all sold out! In order to get a turkey for your Thanksgiving feast, you are going to have to design and build a turkey trap to catch a turkey. 

Design and create a turkey trap using household items!

When creating your design, use items you have around the house like tooth picks, scrap paper, toilet paper rolls, cardboard, etc. Be creative and have FUN!
