At Caldwell, we have lots of positive experiences for our stars, but on Friday our Middle School digital arts students had a technical positive experience! Under the direction of instructor Abigail Killian, students explored positive photo transfers of their polaroid pictures to print.
"With image transfers, the toner that makes up the picture is lifted from one surface and applied to another. In the process, the image is reversed horizontally. The transferring technique allows you to place all or select areas of a photograph, illustration and drawing onto or next to existing images in a seamless kind of collage." - reference
