A note from Mrs. Cureton:
We have had a great week on campus this week and several events coming up next week! Please see the items below for next week's events. We hope you will all join us in celebrating our teachers.
STAAR Testing (5th Science) : Tuesday, May 9th. The campus will be closed to visitors on the days we have state assessments. This means that all students are expected to be at school (PK-5), but we cannot have visitors on campus for lunches, meetings, etc. Good luck to our 5th graders taking this assessment!
Talent Show: We are excited to host our Talent Show again this year for grade 3-5. The Talent Show will take place on May 24th, during the school day. Talent show forms have been sent home with all students in grades 3-5. If your student is interested in participating, please make sure to return the permission slip to Ms. Lynch by Monday, May 1st. Auditions for the talent show will be held on May 1st & 4th during grade level specials times.
Work it out Friday: As we gear up for our 3rd-5th grades to take STAAR Math on Tuesday, May 9th, we invite all of our students to join us in encouraging them to work out their math problems for success! On Friday, May 5th, all students and staff are invited to wear their best, school appropriate, workout gear to cheer on our testers! 3rd-5th grade students will participate in fun relay activities with Mrs. Cureton, Mrs. Wild, & Ms. York on this day, so please send your student to school in closed toe shoes.
Teacher Appreciation Week: We are so excited to celebrate and appreciate our teachers next week, May 1st--5th. We would love for all of our families to join us in appreciating and celebrating them! If you would like to write your student(s) teacher a note of appreciation, you can do so using the link below. We will also have a note writing station at our front office where you can leave teachers a hand written note in lieu of a virtual note. Virtual and hand written notes will be delivered to our teachers on Friday, May 5th!

Cougar Nation Reminders:
--Please drop off by 7:50am. Our tardy bell rings at that time & we want our Cougars ready to learn with us! The cafeteria entrance is open from 7:00am-7:50am. Any students arriving after 7:50am must come to the front entrance and be checked in at the front office by an adult.
--All visitors must check in at the front office and have a valid ID with them.
--We cannot release students after 2:30pm due to dismissal procedures. If you have appointments, please make arrangements to pick up by this time or you will be asked to wait until dismissal at 3:10pm.
