A note from Mrs. Cureton:

Wow! We were blown away this week by all the support from our families and community members at our field day and career day! Thank you all for partnering with us to make those two events successful and fun for our kids! We appreciate you all! We are now officially in the last week of school! Please see below for all of the special events this week:

Academy Awards: DATE CHANGED TO MAY 22nd! We are excited to invite all of our families to our Academy Awards for each grade level! At this event, students will recieve recognition awards and celebrate a great year! Kindergarten--4th grades have a specific time for their awards (listed on flyer below). Please see the flyer for your child's award time.

If you plan to attend, we invite you to come by our front office the day before (or morning of) to pre-scan your drivers license. Pre-scanning your license will save you time on the day of the awards--you can simply grab your visitors badge at the door and head down to the awards ceremony in the cafe!

5th Grade Track Meet: Our 5th graders will be traveling to Tyler High School Monday, May 22nd. If your student is competing in the track events, we invite you to join us at Tyler High to watch! The events will start at 9am. Students will depart Tyler High to head back to Clarkston at approximately 1:30pm.

5th Grade Cookout: We are so excited for our annual 5th grade cookout! If you are a parent of a 5th grader and would like to join us for lunch, we would love to have you! Please bring a blanket for our picnic lunch with you. Lunch will be served from 11:00-12:00.

Pre-K & 5th Grade Promotion Ceremonies: Parents of Pre-K and 5th grade students: please join us to celebrate your student(s)' completion of a great year! Both ceremonies will be held in the cafe. Times for each ceremony are listed on the flyer below.

Class Parties: Class parties will be held on Friday, May 26th. Families are welcome to attend! Please see the schedule below for party times and contact your student(s)' teacher for more information.

Cougar Nation Reminders:

--Please drop off by 7:50am. Our tardy bell rings at that time & we want our Cougars ready to learn with us! The cafeteria entrance is open from 7:00am-7:50am. Any students arriving after 7:50am must come to the front entrance and be checked in at the front office by an adult.

--All visitors must check in at the front office and have a valid ID with them.

--We cannot release students after 2:30pm due to dismissal procedures. If you have appointments, please make arrangements to pick up by this time or you will be asked to wait until dismissal at 3:10pm.
