Before Spring Break, Mrs. Wheeler's 2nd graders held a Lemonade Stand as part of their Social Studies project. They have been learning about what a free enterprise system is. They have also learned the difference between a service versus a good as well as a producer versus a consumer. Students found the cost of the items used, created advertising posters, and even conducted research and found facts about lemonade. Students used their writing skills to explain when lemonade was first created.
