What a turnout we had at the PTA Family Game Night & Glow Art Show! Thank you to all of our families in attendance & thank you to our PTA for putting on this free event for our families!
We are quickly approaching the end of the school year and a month of several events on campus! We hope that families are able to join us at these events during this last month of school!
Teacher & Staff Appreciation week: next week, May 6th-10th is our teacher & staff appreciation week. To celebrate our amazing crew at Clarkston, we invite all of our students to participate in the dress up days and appreciation activities in the flyer below. Thank you for helping us to celebrate our staff!
Field Day: Please note the grade level time changes below for field day. We have adjusted times so that students are able to enjoy all of the field day stations offered and families will have more space to come out and join the fun! All parents, with a valid ID can attend. If you would like to help run a station at field day, you must be an approved Tyler ISD volunteer-please contact your child's teacher if you would like to volunteer.
PTA Spirit Night @ Chuck E Cheese: Friday, May 10th, 3:30pm-8:00pm. Please join us for a night of fun & fundraising at Chuck E Cheese. Flyers & coupons to use at the event should be sent home with your student next week. Come out and help us raise money for our school!
Academy Awards: Join us as we celebrate accomplishments of all our students during grade level award ceremonies! See graphic below with dates and times for each ceremony.
Pre-K Promotion Ceremony: Thursday, May 23rd, 9:00am. Please join us as we celebrate a year of growth and learning for our pre-k Cougars! This event will be held in the Clarkston cafe. All visitors must check in at the front office & bring a valid ID. To help us keep our facility in top shape, we ask that guests do not bring balloons or confetti into the cafe for the ceremony.
5th Grade Promotion Ceremony: Thursday, May 23rd, 1:30pm. Please join us as we celebrate our 5th graders' end of an era in elementary school! This event will be held in the Clarkston cafe. All visitors must check in at the front office & bring a valid ID. To help us keep our facility in top shape, we ask that guests do not bring balloons or confetti into the cafe for the ceremony.

Arrival Procedures
ALL students should enter campus through the cafeteria doors each morning. Only students and staff are allowed to enter through the cafeteria doors. Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria, and is free to all students, from 7:00am-7:45am. Any student arriving to campus after 7:50am will need to have a parent walk them in through the front entrance doors.
