A note from Mrs. Cureton:
October is quickly approaching and we are excited for the many events going on in October! Parent conferences begin in October-if you have not yet set up a parent conference with your student's teacher, please contact your student's teacher or Mrs. Cureton to do so ASAP. We are excited to meet with you and share your student's beginning of the year data and goals for the school year!
Friday, October 4th, is our district-wide College Colors Day! We encourage all of our students to wear their favorite college/technical school/military shirt.
PTA Spirit Gear Sales:
We anticipate a September 27th delivery date for PTA spirit gear purchased in August. As soon as the spirit gear is delivered, PTA will sort and distribute gear to students at school . I will send out messages to families when spirit gear is delivered to students.
Fall Festival:
PTA is collecting bags of individually wrapped candy for our Fall Festival! If you are able to donate a bag of candy for the festival, please send with your student to school. We will be collecting bags of candy from Monday, September 30th--Thursday, October 24th.
Fall Festival, sponsored by PTA, will take place on Friday, October 25th from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the Clarkston front parking lot. This year's event will be bigger than years past and we are excited to have all of our families with us for this event! Concessions will be sold for a small cost, but trunk or treat and the games are free to all in attendance! See flyer below for more details.
Fall Pictures:
Fall picture day is October 3rd! Picture order forms have been sent home with students. Lifetouch School Photography, known for capturing school pictures from K-12 nationwide, will take our school photos this year. For more information about Picture Day, check out the flyer sent home with students Thursday, 9/26, or visit:
