A note from Mrs. Cureton:
As we edge closer to Thanksgiving break, I would like to send a shoutout of gratitude to our families for your support. Whether that's answering our calls during the day, sending donations for fall festival, stuff the turkeys, or staff treats, or helping support your student's learning at home, what you are doing makes a difference for your student at school. As we are continuing to partner with you throughout this school year, please reach out to your student's teacher if you have any questions or need more guidance on how you can best support your student at school.
Also, thank you for your support and understanding in getting your student to school no later than 7:50am and ensuring that you are not dropping students off at the cafe doors after 7:50am. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our students safe at arrival.
Please note that PTA Family Movie night has been postponed, due to the rain anticipated tonight, to Friday, November 15th @5:30pm. We apologize for the reschedule and appreciate your understanding!
PTA Movie Night:
We can't wait for our annual Movie Night in the cafe! Bring your family, lawn chairs, and blankets and come watch the 2018 version of The Grinch. We hope all of our families come out for this free event! PTA will have concession items available for purchase. Ms. Katie will also have some amazing student artwork on display at this event. Please come out and see your student's masterpiece!

Stuff the Turkeys:
Our amazing PTA is aiming to help our school raise funds for more playground equipment! As you guys may have noticed, one of our playgrounds was removed over the summer and now our kids only have a small playground area to play on each day. We would love to have more items for our kids to play on and are trying to raise the funds to make that happen!
PTA is hosting a Stuff the Turkeys fundraiser to help! Please bring in your spare change and have your student(s) drop their spare change in their grade level turkey (located in the front office). The grade level with the most change donated will win an ice cream party! All proceeds from this will go towards funds for playground materials!
Pizza by the Slice:
Our November Pizza by the Slice day is coming up! Friday, November 15th. ALL money is due no later than Wednesday, November 13th @11am. We cannot make exceptions to the due date/time due to ordering processes with our pizza vendor. Students are not allowed to have individual pizzas delivered to our front offices on these days. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact me. The pizza slices are the larger slice size, are $2 each, and are delivered to students @2pm on the day of the event.
