Students and staff came together for an exciting Leader Assembly where we honored our outstanding Students of the Month from January, February, and March. These students were recognized for their leadership, hard work, and positive impact on their peers and school community. The assembly also spotlighted participants in Academic UIL, celebrating their dedication to academic excellence, as well as students who competed in the Hoop Shoot basketball competition, showing off their skills and sportsmanship.
We also took time to celebrate an incredible group of students who completed the Rose City Readers challenge. These dedicated readers each read 20 books from various genres and successfully passed their corresponding A.R. (Accelerated Reader) tests—an impressive accomplishment that highlights their commitment to literacy and learning. Their hard work and love for reading set a great example for their classmates.
Adding to the fun, the assembly included a lively Bunny Hopping Marshmallow game that brought lots of laughs and energy to the room. Students cheered each other on as they hopped their way through the challenge, creating a joyful and supportive atmosphere. It was a special time for our school to come together, celebrate achievements, and enjoy a little friendly fun!
