We have had a fantastic week 2 of school! We are entering into a busy time of the school year and have many fun family events coming up that we encourage all families to attend.
Our community sign language classes start this coming Tuesday, August 30th. This is a great opportunity to learn something new while spending time with your family! See the flyer below for more details.
Grandfriends' Day is coming up on September 9th-we can't wait to see all of our Grandfriends on campus for a light breakfast and craft! See the flyer below for more details.
Our PTA supports several of the events happening on campus this year. We encourage all of our families to join the Clarkston PTA-moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and even grandparents can join! Your $7 yearly membership goes directly back into supporting Clarkston students. As a PTA member, you can choose your level of involvement-whether that’s simply paying your annual membership fee or helping PTA plan school events such as the fall carnival, field day, class parties, and other fun events on campus. Arrival Reminders:
All students should be dropped off at the cafeteria doors in the morning. Only Clarkston students & staff are allowed in the cafeteria doors. The cafeteria entrance is open from 7:00am-7:50am. Any students arriving after 7:50am must come to the front entrance and be checked in at the front office by an adult.
All visitors must check in at the front office and have a valid ID with them.
Dismissal Reminders:
Please note that if your student is a car rider, they must be picked up in the car line. If your student is a walker, they will be released through the front entrance of the school. We ask that anyone meeting their walkers meet them at the stop sign on Pine Crest and Williamsburg. Please do not drive up to the side of the school to pick your student up-if you are driving up to the side, you will need to get in the car line and your student will be a car rider.
Please do not wait for your student at the front entrance of the school-that area needs to be clear for car rider dismissal.
