Today was such a special day on our campus! Our classrooms were filled with energy and excitement as high school students stepped in to lead **JA in a Day** lessons. They did an amazing job guiding our younger students through hands-on activities focused on real-world skills like money management, careers, and teamwork.

Our students loved learning from β€œbig kids,” and it was incredible to see leadership, confidence, and connections being built across grade levels. We’re so grateful for the time and effort these high school volunteers poured into making today meaningful and fun! πŸ’™

Mrs. Brittain in 3rd grade is bringing *The Tiger Rising* to life in the most creative way! During their novel study, she showed off her artistic skills by transforming her classroom door into a fierce tiger πŸ…and creating a display of the Kentucky Star Motel βπŸ¨β€”making the story jump right off the pages for her students.

*The Tiger Rising* by Kate DiCamillo follows a young boy named Rob who discovers a caged tiger in the woods behind a motel where he lives. As he forms unexpected friendships and faces his own emotions, the story explores themes of grief, courage, and the importance of letting feelings be felt. πŸ…βœ¨
