🌟 Specials Showcase Day for 3rd–5th Grade! 🌟 Today our Clarkston families got a front-row seat to what makes Specials such a joyful and essential part of our students’ learning experience! Parents and guardians were invited to step into their child’s world and experience the creativity, movement, and music that make each day unforgettable. 🎨🎶🏃‍♂️💛 Here’s a look at the amazing day: ✨ Highlights from the Day: • 🎶 Music Magic: Families joined in as students sang, clapped, and participated in music activities led by our amazing music teachers. • ☀️ Art in the Sun: Students explored a hands-on art experiment using sunlight to create beautiful image transfers right in our courtyard. • 🏃‍♀️ PE Fun & Games: Parents cheered on their students while they played active games, practiced teamwork, and enjoyed physical activities in the gym. • 🤝 Family Engagement: Parents were able to sit, play, create, and learn right alongside their children—making memories that truly matter. • 🎉 Smiles Everywhere: From the gym to the music room to the sunshine outside, there wasn’t a space on campus that wasn’t filled with excitement and pride! We are so thankful for every family who came out to support and experience a piece of their child’s day. 🗳️ It’s Voting Day in 2nd Grade! 🇺🇸 Our students learned all about the voting process today — from stepping into the booth to casting their very own votes! They even got to experience the excitement of seeing the results come in. 🎉 Each student visited our classroom voting booth to make their choice in a fun (and delicious!) election — which cookie is the class favorite? 🍪 After all the votes were counted, Fudge Stripes won with 45.5% in one class and 50% in the other class of the votes! 🏆 What a great way to learn about civic responsibility, decision-making, and the importance of every vote counting. 💙❤️ #StudentVoice #FutureVoters #2ndGradeLearners #CivicEducation #LearningIsFun

⚡️🔋 4th Grade Human Circuits in Action! 💡✨ Our 4th graders took hands-on learning to the next level today by becoming part of the circuit themselves! 🙌 They created human circuits using each other as batteries, wires, switches, and light bulbs — then tested how adding conductors and insulators changed the flow of energy. ⚙️ Students had to explain why their circuit was complete (or not!) and identify the role each component played in transferring electrical energy. 💬💭 It was a powerful (and shocking 😄) lesson on how electricity moves through a closed path — full of teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of excitement! #4thGradeScience #ElectricEnergy #HandsOnLearning #STEMinAction #StudentScientists #ClarkstonChargedUp
