👷‍♀️🏆 Golden Hard Hat Award! 🏆👷‍♂️ Last week's Golden Hard Hats went to 2 team members who go above and beyond to help build a stronger Clarkston! ❤️🖤 Thank you for showing what it means to be Built for This as you adapt, grow, and deliver for our Cougars each day! 🔨 Building excellence, one day at a time!

🥚🔬Mrs. Smith’s class learned about chemical changes with a hands-on egg experiment! Students observed an egg before and after heat and discovered that cooking it is a chemical change because it can’t return to its original form. 🧪 Best of all—they got to eat the experiment! 🍳😋

🔎👀 Authority Figures: FOUND! ✅ Our 1st grade Cougars took Social Studies on the move with an Authority Figure Scavenger Hunt around campus! 🐾 Students searched for the people who help lead, support, and keep our school running each day. ❤️🖤 Learning is always more fun when you get to explore! 🏫✨

5th grade detectives were hard at work this week-using properties of matter to find the guilty suspect! 🕵️‍♂️🧪

A huge thank you to Rose Heights & The Woods Baptist Church for loving on our staff this week! Donuts, drinks, and our monthly birthday cupcakes...YUM! 🍩🧁

🚀 Launching into Learning! 🐾🔬 Our 1st Grade Cougars put science into action by designing and testing their very own catapults! Students explored how parts work together as a system while connecting their learning to classifying objects. Building, testing, adjusting, and launching—science is always more fun when learning takes flight! 🎯✨

When morning car line starts with a rainbow over campus, you know it's going to be a great day! Let's rock today, Cougar Nation! 🎉🐾

🤝 Teamwork Tuesday! 🤝 Our Cougars took on the Paper Balance Race during Morning Meeting! 🐾📄 Students had to balance, move, and help “frozen” teammates—all without dropping their own paper! Teamwork, communication, and a whole lot of fun! 💪

Thank you to our newest 7 Brew in Tyler for treating our staff to this yummy afternoon pick me up! ☕️🐾

2nd grade explored chronological order today & put the typical day of a second grader into a timeline! 🧠🐾
