professional clothes hanging on racks

We are seeking donations to restock our Professional Dress Closet, which provides high school students with professional attire for career fairs, interviews, and jobs. With the arrival of spring, it's the perfect time to clean out your closet and give back to the community.

The Professional Dress Closet is an essential resource for students who may not have access to the appropriate clothing for job interviews or internships. Donating your gently used professional clothing can significantly impact a student's ability to secure a job and start their career.

The Career & Technology Center currently accepts donations of men's and women's professional items, including suits, shirts, blazers, skirts, pants, dresses, ties, belts, and dress shoes. All donated items must be cleaned appropriately and on hangers if possible. Damaged items and items without sizes clearly labeled will not be accepted.

If you're interested in donating, you can schedule a drop-off or pick-up from your office by contacting Jessica Brown, the CTE Work-Based Learning Coordinator, at Jessica.Brown@TylerISD.org or calling 903-262-1911 when school is open.

Donating your professional attire is an easy way to make a difference in a student's life. By contributing to the Professional Dress Closet, you're not only helping students look the part but also giving them the confidence they need to succeed in their professional endeavors. So, please look in your closet, gather up those suits and dresses you no longer wear, and donate them to the Career & Technology Center's Professional Dress Closet. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated by the students who will benefit from your donations.
