CTC Practicum of Graphic Design Students created a student-directed project called "Restaurant Branding" this week. Students used AVID strategies and employability skills to effectively create a project focus, parameters and a rubric. The project includes a custom logo, new slogan, a full menu and a rendered storefront. Students in groups decided the type of restaurants they would brand. Today, they are successfully finalizing the logo portion of the project. Students will place all final pieces in Adobe InDesign, a program they will try to certify in by the end of the year.
