Forensics

Our very experienced CTC Criminal Justice teacher, Mr. Moore, guided his students through a Forensic Science Observation Skill Situation today.  CTC Criminal Justice students used their knowledge and skills to work a  mock crime scene in low light and lighted situations.  Knowing how to observe in the different lighting situations is key to thoroughly observing a crime scene. This activity was  student-led, as they observed, asked questions amongst each other, took notes and  discussed the scene for 10 minutes. Then, they collaborated on what they believed occurred for 5 minutes. Afterwards, Mr. Moore revealed what truly happened in the mock crime scene situation. Students were able to compare and contrast their notes and discussions versus Mr. Moore's. This is such a real-world scenario for students to experience at the CTC.
