Two fifth grade girls reading pete the cat to a class with cartoon books stacked on the sides

In celebration of World Read Aloud Day, the halls of our school echoed with the delightful voices of fifth graders taking center stage as guest readers. Amidst the joyous festivities, these young learners assumed the role of storytellers, captivating audiences of peers, teachers, and younger students alike.

Through their spirited delivery, they hope to foster a love for literature and inspire others to embark on their own literary journeys. World Read Aloud Day served not only as a platform for these fifth graders to showcase their literary prowess but also as a testament to the transformative power of storytelling. In their roles as guest readers, they embodied the notion that regardless of age, every voice holds the potential to inspire, enlighten, and uplift others through the magic of words.

On this day, our fifth graders have not only celebrated the joy of reading but have also become champions of literacy, leaving an indelible mark on our school community.
