I would like for you to participate in our Parent STAAR Night that we will be hosting at Griffin during the first week of February. This will be a great opportunity for your child to see you and their teacher working together to help support him or her as they prepare for the STAAR test.
Our STAAR nights will take place on the following dates:
3rd Grade Parent STAAR Night: Tuesday, February 4th ( 5:30-7pm)
4th Grade Parent STAAR Night: Wednesday, February 5th (5:30-7pm)
5th Grade Parent STAAR Night: Thursday, February 6th ( 5:50-7pm)
The following will be provided:
Free childcare
Dinner for all attendees
200 Bulldog Points for 3rd-5th grade students who attend
Your child's specific score goal
Your students' current performance goals
Tools to support your child at home
Guidance on selecting schedules for 5th graders going to an in-district middle school
