We love stations and teacher tables! Students were movin’, groovin’, and learnin’ in Mr. Phillips’s 7th grade RLA class! One station included a MYSTERY BOX full of items they could use to create a title and narrative! Go Huskies! 🧡🐾
Students got hands-on experience identifying metals, non-metals, and metalloids today in Mr. Thompson’s 6th grade Science class! It was great to see their “lightbulbs” come on, both literally and figuratively. This lab really helped them internalize conductivity, malleability, and luster! Go Huskies! 🧡🐾

Tyler PD came by to talk about their cadet program and what it takes to be a Police officer. Students participated in safety scenarios and fitness requirements. AVID Tutorials are back in full swing. Students complete a Tutorial Request Form (TRF) over a problem they are confused. Their student peers then ask guiding questions to help lead their Student Presenter to understanding! This Socratic method ensures student learning, retention, and repetition is happening!
