Tyler ISD will spend the week of May 17th-21st, exploring our founding documents, honoring our nation’s ideals and beliefs of freedom, and celebrating patriotism. We will also spend time recognizing the historical leaders of the past and honoring the sacrifices of our armed forces, both past and present.
Celebrate the week by having your campus participate in daily themes and activities. Don't forget to share your your student's spirit on social media (#tylerfreedomweek and @TylerISDSocStu).
Monday, May 17th
Liberty Day- Students wear red.
Tuesday, May 18th
Patriot Day- Students wear blue.
Wednesday, May 19th
Preamble Day- Students dress their best or as a community helper.
Thursday, May 20th
Military Hero Day- Students dress like a soldier. (camo, uniform, etc.)
Friday, May 21st
Flag Day- Students wear red, white, and blue.
