It's that time of year again...time for our storybook pumpkin contest!
Here is how it works: students choose a book they have read and decorate a pumpkin like one of the characters. Students may bring pumpkins to the library Monday, October 18 through Friday, October 22nd. Pumpkins will be displayed through the week of Monday, October 25th through Friday, October 29th. Students will bring pumpkins home on Friday, October 29th. All remaining pumpkins will be discarded. Jones students and staff will vote for their favorites and winners will receive a prize!
Display Rules
- Pumpkins need to be a MINI pumpkin, no more than 6 inches tall.
- Artificial or real pumpkins are permitted.
- Yarn, fabric scraps, paint, cardboard and stickers may be used to decorate.
- Please do not carve or puncture the pumpkin in any way.
- Pumpkins that begin to decay may have to be discarded.
