Thank you Smith County Sheriff Department's Lieutenant Hobson and Deputy Dinger and their K9s for being a part of Career Day at Jones. Students learned about what it takes to protect and serve the people of Smith County. 💙💛🐆💛💙Jones’ very own Mrs. Grounds shared the emotional story of her grandparents and parents, leaving a profound impact on everyone present. Be sure to ask your child about her family history. 🖤💚❤️ Her grandfather is pictured the Black Cowboys Museum for roping, and she was the first person in her immediate family to earn a Masters Degree. 💙💛🐆💙💛

Jaguars took it to the streets today with a heart pounding performance by Soul Street. Students learned some amazing dance moves, about the history of hip hop, and even enjoyed watching their teacher bust a move!
