Teaching Philosophy?:
I am an influential, creative, driven, and passionate leader with a commitment to my studentsβ, colleaguesβ, and schoolβs success. My core foundation as a man is built upon dedication and reliability of which I hope to pass on to my students. I owe it to our students, team, and school to bring vigor, loyalty, and consistency to the classroom every day. I aim to bring an open mind, positive attitude, and high expectations to inspire and nurture these traits among the people I share interactions with daily. I walk into my classroom every day with the intent of hearing, connecting with, and empowering all students. I aspire to be the voice in their head that whispers you can, when they think they cannot; the hand that steadies them when they fall, and the smile they see when they succeed or are having a bad day. People need someone to believe in them until they can believe in themselves. Students, our children, are no different. For them, I will be that someone. My teaching philosophy is simple: be what your students need you to be and be open to changing as they grow.
Congratulations Mr. Rasmussen! Legacy is lucky to have you!
