Congratulations to Kenadi Carmichael, 11th grade student at Tyler Legacy High School and the Career & Technology Center (CTC), for being named the District Secondary Student of the Month for September.

Kenadi's CTC teachers describe her as a prodigy in graphic design, showcasing her skills through projects like designing the invitation and reply card for the Junior Achievement of Tyler Banquet. Her graphic design work is of the highest quality, showing great creativity and maturity in her approach.
Kenadi's accomplishments extend beyond the classroom. She is deeply involved in Career and Technical Student Organizations and Debate. Kenadi is also a member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) and a Mu Alpha Theta inductee.
Maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA, Kenadi is known for her respectfulness and kindness toward teachers and peers. She is truly an inspiring leader and an exceptional representative of Tyler ISD.
The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System.
Each month, Tyler ISD recognizes the exemplary efforts of two students, one from our elementary schools and one from our secondary schools, to be honored. Teachers and school principals submit nominations based on students' excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus, and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
