It's Blood Drive Season! Carter Blood Care is coming to Legacy on an A Day, Monday April 15th. They will be set up in the Media Center with time slots available from 8:00 to 3:45. Participants get a free Blood Drive t-shirt and seniors get another opportunity to earn their blood cord. This is the last opportunity for seniors to earn the cord, so make sure to take advantage! Tyler Legacy JROTC has been keeping busy! They have been on several field trips as well as attending events over the weekend or over breaks!
π΄Over spring break members attended and presented the colors for the 45th Tyler Postmaster oath of office ceremony. They got to meet both the new Postmaster, Aaron Williams, as well as Mayor Warren.
βͺEarlier this month they attended and presented the colors at the 57th Annual Conference for the Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras.
π΅This past weekend, members attended and presented the colors at the Tyler Autism run.
π΄ They took a field trip to Baylor University where they attended the Confidence Challenge Course for team building, as well as spending time on campus.
Way to go JROTC! Thank you for representing Tyler Legacy at all these many events and more!

Today is National School Librarian Day and we have 2 of the very best!!! We are so grateful for all they do to keep our students learning, leading and reading at Tyler Legacy!! We have had such a blast celebrating Mr. Sherman's birthday today. Students and staff decked out in their Disney gear to bring all the Disney joy to our campus for the special occasion. He was also showered with treats, gifts, cards, and high fives and fist bumps from students and staff all day. Staff was treated with a spread of Disney treats to add to the perfect birthday celebration! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. SHERMAN! Thank you for all you do!

Tyler Legacy Theatre is BEYOND EXCITED to announce that they have been recognized by Broadway Dallas for their outstanding work in their fall musical, Something Rotten. Legacy received a nomination for Outstanding Musical and has a record-breaking FOUR Outstanding Lead Performers nominated - Jerard Mosley, Fabiola Caraballo, Zach Combs and Max Payne. The musical was also nominated for Outstanding Music Direction for the amazing work by Jabryn Carston. These students and our entire cast will compete at Broadway Dallas on May 24th for the chance to go to NYC and earn the coveted Jimmy Award. Please share this amazing news, and let everyone know that Tyler Legacy Theatre is a force in the musical theatre field, and you will be seeing these students make it big one day!
