Today is the first day of Hello Week! Hello week empowers students to recognize loneliness and isolation in peers and works to build meaningful connections between students.
Today is Meet and Greet Monday. All students are wearing name tags to encourage meeting others!

Sending our Raiders football players off in style as they head to Texarkana to play Texas High. Kick off is at 7PM at Tiger Stadium.

Zonta Club held their first meeting of the year after school today. Zonta Club is a national women empowerment group that works to make the world a better place through service and advocacy.

Our Raiders cheerleaders hosted a homecoming celebration for students in our life skills classes. Students had a great time dancing with the cheerleaders and our Raiders mascots.

More Homecoming Parade highlights!
Don't forget to get your tickets to the dance, at bit.ly/tlhshoco22 and will pick up a physical ticket the week of the dance. They will need to present the physical ticket and their ID at the door. Students who would like to bring a guest from outside of Legacy needs to come to A130 or A335 to pick up a guest form that they will need signed by their principal.





Twin Tuesday!
We kicked off homecoming week with Twin Tuesday. Students and staff dressed as βtwinsβ in matching outfits.
Donβt forget tomorrow is toddlers vs. senior citizens. Freshman and sophomores are dressing as toddlers and juniors and seniors are dressing as senior citizens.

Learning doesn't just take place in the our classrooms here at Legacy. These students in Mr. Ray's physics class conducted an experiment dealing with gravity in our main foyer. Using the variables of height dropped and speed, students calculated the velocity and acceleration of the objects they dropped from the second story.

Last Friday some of our dual credit Government students got to meet their Tyler Junior College professor when he came to visit campus. Students were excited to meet their professor in person since they usually meet virtually. We are so lucky to offer many dual credit courses in partnership with TJC including English, Sociology, US History, Psychology, and more. Find out how you can enroll in dual credit courses from your counselor.



In order to raise funds for the 32nd annual Tyler Pantry Raid benefitting the East Texas Food Bank, all students who donate at least $10 will receive early release on Friday, Sep 2nd at 1:45 PM. Students will show their receipt and ID to pick up an Early Release Pass from Stuco students at lunches Thurs and Fri!


We want to invite the Red Raider Community to our traditional Homecoming Parade on September 6th beginning at 6:30PM. Come out to see the Red Raider Football Team as well as your favorite Legacy organizations and teams!
