The Tyler Legacy Student Council held a Toys for Tots drive this year. We had an overwhelming number of individuals donate to help make a child’s holiday a little brighter this year! Thank you to our amazing students and all of those who donated this year!!!

Tomorrow is an early release day at 12:15 pm. Please make arrangements to be picked up at that time. We will have to go lunches available as you leave.
All students who will remain on campus for the bus need to report the the lecture hall by 12:30 pm.
You will need to bring your Chromebook to complete your final examination. Please charge it up this evening and bring both your cord/Chromebook.

Good afternoon Legacy Parents/Guardians,
Our fire alarm was set off this afternoon at approximately 3:00 pm. Our Emergency Plan procedures were set into motion, and students and staff were evacuated from the building. They were kept safe until firefighters gave the all-clear.
We want to make clear that this was a false alarm after an individual pulled the fire alarm, however there was no fire on campus.
We also would like to remind you that students are not allowed to be released to parents during these situations. Your child’s safety is of our utmost concern. We need to ensure that we are accountable for our students’ whereabouts, especially in times of a potential issue. You can feel confident that we practice safety procedures and always follow our plan to keep everyone safe.
Also, please share with your student fire alarm pull stations on campus are to be pulled only if they see a fire in the building.

First scrimmage of the season last night resulted in a 3-0 victory for the Legacy boys Varsity over an always tough Lufkin squad! The JV beat Lufkin 3-1. Next scrimmages are at Pine Tree on Tuesday at 5:00 and 6:30 pm.
To raise for cancer research the Stuco Jrs are sponsoring a hat day on Dec 14th. In order to to wear a hat, students must show a donation of any amt from the link below during lunches on Monday for a wristband. All hats worn must be appropriate(NO BANDANAS).
