Get ready for a night of introductions and insights at our annual "Meet the Teacher" event! Scheduled for August 12, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM at the Orr Elementary School gymnasium, this event is a fantastic opportunity for parents, students, and teachers to connect and set the tone for a successful school year. There will be Kindergarten and First grade parent session in the cafe from 6:00 - 6:15pm.
"Meet the Teacher" night provides a relaxed, informal setting where parents can meet their child's teacher, explore the classroom, and gain a better understanding of the curriculum and expectations for the year. Teachers will be available to discuss their teaching philosophies, classroom routines, and answer any questions you might have.
For students, this night is an excellent way to ease any first-day jitters by familiarizing themselves with their new environment and teacher. It’s also a chance for students to show their parents around the classroom and highlight any special areas or projects they are excited about.
