Fourth grade students from Mr. Richbourg's class had a blast making Thanksgiving "Turkey Traps" as a STEM activity in the library! They were given only two materials: clay and toothpicks, and using these materials they had to "save Thanksgiving" by designing a trap to "catch" a turkey! #ExcellentEveryday

Students, you are invited to dress up as a storybook character for the Book Character Parade on Monday! Wear your favorite book character costume (dress code appropriate and non-scary) to school on Monday and bring the book to match if you want to walk in the parade!

Congratulations to our grade level winners of the Pumpkin Decorating Contest! These students received the most votes from students and staff this week for their pumpkin designs. The competition was very close and so many designs were creative and incredible. Thank you to all students and parents for your participation! It was an extra-ORRdinary day at Orr today! We started the morning with our Hispanic Heritage program which was a beautiful showcase of talent and hard work from our teachers and students. We also saw many beautiful costumes today as students dressed for the occasion. Students, for our half day of school tomorrow, you can dress up like a famous Hispanic celebrity!
