Owens Elementary launched its first annual Supporter Week in style with an electrifying pep rally! Students and staff filled the gym as upbeat music and vibrant dancing set the stage for a week of fun and fundraising. A lively DJ got everyone moving, and a thrilling teacher dance competition ended with Mrs. Jackson taking home first place — along with an Amazon gift card. The crowd erupted in cheers as teachers showed off their best moves.
The fundraising goal for the week is $100 per student and staff member, with 100% of the proceeds going toward Owens, including a brand-new playground to enhance the school’s outdoor space. Exciting prizes are up for grabs, including rides on a foam bus, lunch on the roof with Principal Davis, and class rewards like pizza and glow parties. To add to the excitement, Principal Davis pledged that for every $1,000 he personally raises, he’ll spend an entire day wearing an eagle inflatable costume around campus and Tyler.
But the biggest challenge? If the school hits $75,000, Principal Davis will camp out on the roof of the school for an entire night! With high spirits and a strong sense of community, Owens Elementary is ready to soar to new heights for a great cause.
