What an amazing success Field Day was! Our Olympic-themed event had each class representing a different country, and the creativity was off the charts. Despite the heat, our students had a blast competing, cheering, and celebrating together! In the library this week, 5th graders are taking a trip down memory lane as they look at the very first and the very last book they ever checked out at Owens. These future middle schoolers are loving getting to see how their book choices changed from being the youngest eagles to being the oldest!

4th grade went to the Heritage Museum near Canton to see what life was like as a Texan in the early 1900s. They were so inspired, they came back and made their own butter! 🧈
